Pilates was first founded by Joseph Pilates. It is a form of exercise that focuses on posture re-alignment, core strength and breathing techniques. In a nutshell, it helps strengthen your inner muscles as well as your outer. So, having the perfect physique on the outside doesn't necessarily mean that your inner muscles are strong.
